Letter G Day

Today we went to the GROSSOLOGY museum.
This is where you can go learn hands on how we all burp, fart,
have boogers etc. TOO funny!

Are you serious?? There is a sniffing station where you guess if you are
sniffing a mouth, armpit, ANUS or foot.
Read below... seriously this was the perfect place to take kids, they laughed so hard.

Friends for the day - Dalton, Reid, Julian, Dru & Cristian

Letter F Day

First I have to tell you the funny story behind letter F. It's now a craze in our home to figure out what is planned for the letter of the day.  Our friends want in on it, and Dalton is in for the ride til Z. Tyler was at Dalton's today and his Dad asked him if he wanted to spend the night. Tyler answered, "No I can't cause I got to go do the F at 10:00pm!

We went to the FOUNTAINS at Bellagio.

Letter E Day

We ate pizza at ENZO's pizza.
Our friend for the day is Dalton
Then we went to ETHEL M'S Chocolate Factory

Dylin has NEVER had chocolate... because it causes her PKD to spread... we had been given many mixed information on whether she could have white chocolate, we finally got our answer assured and so here it is...her first bite of chocolate. I thought maybe after all this wait, she would hate it, but nope she wanted me to buy a huge bag of it.

Before you play with Dylin, ask her what's on her schedule today....

Dylin and Camryn were made from the same mold. They fight like sisters but want to be around each other all day long, everyday. Today they were supposed to share a water bottle in the car, when I hear Dylin yell at Camryn for giving her a nasty look. I asked Camryn what Dylin did. She said, "Dylin didn't share the water with me." Dylin said, "Well I was thirsty." When we got home, I put Dylin in time out and told her that she has to stop being so mean to everyone or at school, all the parents are going to say that their kids can't play with that bad girl Dylin. She said, "Well I didn't mean to be mean today to Camryn, I forgot to look at my schedule." I said, "Oh and what schedule is that?" Dylin replied, "Well I keep a schedule hidden in my closet and each day I look at it to see if it's my nice day or mean day and I forgot to look at it today." I said, "well then why don't you just choose to be nice everyday?" She said, "Well then if I was nice everyday, I wouldn't need a schedule."

Letter D Day

Went to eat and watch how DOUGHNUTS are made
Friend for the day Camryn.

"I want a black room" (before pictures)

This was Jordyn & Dylin's  baby room. Dylin has been begging for a new room ever since Jordyn's room was redone. (see older posts to view Jordyn's room) Dylin has been saying she wants a black room. Scary I know! I finally took her to show me what she had in mind, and to my surprise it wasn't the gothic-death room I was envisioning. It is amazing! So check back in a few days to see Dylin's new room.

Beware Boys...Dylin is coming to Kindergarten.....

Dylin said that she practiced something to tell Mrs. Curtis (her upcoming Kindergarten teacher), I said, "really, what?"
She lowered her head, glazed up at me and said with a pouty expression.....

"Mrs. Curtis, I'm sorry I hit that boy. My emotions got the best of me. Next time I won't hit him, I'll just kick him!"

Holy flippen $*#@!!!
I tell her everyday that if she wasn't so dang cute, I'd beat her. Her big brown eyes may just get her out of a situation like that.

When you ask a 5 year old what she wants for her birthday you get.....

Dylin was asked by several friends what she wanted for her birthday. She told Danielle "$114.00". She told Gabi "A Barbie Pooping Dog!" Who had ever heard of that? We all immediately looked up to see if there was such a thing...why would we ever question Dylin?!
I'm still wondering if there is a commercial for this....

YOU FEED IT.....

YOU PUSH ON HIS TAIL....
AND YEP OUT ROLLS THE POOP!!

I know what you're thinking....yes his food is his poop.
Just wanted to say thanks to the Houston Family, Gabi went on a major hunt to find this special talented dog. It's the highlight in our home. Crazy how no one cares about our real pooping dog in the backyard.

Chelsi's Run

Last night was Chelsi's 5K Run. It was a bitter-sweet night. Several hundred attended to raise money for the Chelsi Petersen Memorial fund.  The funds are used for scholarships given to High school track atlhletes.

Happy Birthday Chelsi

This is my gorgeous young friend Chelsi. I started babysitting her when she was born, I was 11. (ya that's what I always ask her Mom, why would you hire an 11 year old?)  Chelsi was like Dylin... full of energy, a hilarious child, she was fun, loving & gorgeous. Last year Chelsi attended BYU and was the track all-star. A few weeks before her birthday we lost Chelsi in a car accident. Her birthday is Wednesday, we will be attending her night time fun run in honor of her in St. George, Utah. I miss Chelsi & her family is still aching terribly. Please kiss your kids & tell them you love them everyday! Love you Chels.

Schools Out...finally!

Have I mentioned that I hate year-round. First year, hopefully last year. We (me & the kids) were so over school by May. We have had dinner at T-birds after Allstar games at midnight, going into school late, sleepovers on school nights, playing "soda - pong", swimming on "take your child to work day" (I taught them how to clean a pool before swimming) and it's sad that it's July at we still don't have great tans...

Well apparently our negligence took it's toll....just cleaned out Tyler's backpack, look what was stuck on the chocolate tennis ball.... okay seriously how long has that been in there???

Let me remind you, YOU'RE FIVE!!!

Dylin - "Mom, is Freaken-A a bad word?"
Me - "It's not a nice word"
Dylin - "So I shouldn't tell anyone that?"
Me - "No, you shouldn't use that"
Dylin - "But I can tell myself that, since it won't hurt other peoples feelings"
Me - "How do you use that towards yourself, Dylin?"
Dylin - "When I do something stupid, I can say Freaken-A Dylin, Freaken-A Dylin"

Middle Finger Again....

On our way to Dylin's party...
No music on....
I hear, "I stick my middle finger to the world, to the world, to the world!"
