5 weeks later.....22 hours total....

Jordyn has had her Hawaiian room since she was 3 so she wanted a change. I wasn't ready for one. I love her room & I'm sentimental about my paitings for each of my kids.
But she was clear that she wanted a rock star room with animal print for her birthday. She had no idea that I was going to do it. The second she left for school I was ripping her room apart. I had only one wall to do, piece of cake, ha! I rallied up Johanna & we went to work. Little did we know that the primer would suck the black paint in, and so every zebra stripe had to be painted 3-4 times each. So here it is.....

She might have a smile on her face in this picture, but she was MAD when she found her Easter basket & there was a soft pink bat in it. She wanted a real hard bat. Um, ya not a good idea.

I was having a bad night. Dylin saw me crying. She left for a few minutes, came into my room and said, "Mommy, I'm sorry you are sad & I don't want you to cry so I'm giving you my favorite necklace & I drew you a picture with your NAME on it."

Had to be at Sunrise Hospital with Dylin for testing @ 7:30am....

she was bent out of shape because I had to wake her up, she had to fast, and then walked out

to a dead car battery....

she's normaly cooperative during all her tests, but she's had it! (I don't blame her)

we ended up being there longer than planned due to her uncooperation.

After all that, we came home to water running down the drive way....

Yep, the hot water heater exploded.

Shut the water off for 4 hours - called my parents to rescue me.

Get a call from my doctor (whom I tell don't call me with any test results, I have a lot going on right now with Dylin's health) and says that I need a biopsy on my thyroid.

My parents come to the rescue....

As Rick & my Dad change out the water heater & my mom & sister Robin are consoling me after a hard month from medical hell...

water starts coming out of the stairs and onto the tile. (The water heater flooded under the stairwell.)

woke up to more water coming out of the walls in the family room.

Who knew a sledge hammer could accomplish so much therapy?!
