Jordyn - "Dylin can you please get your feet off my seat?"

Dylin - "What's the magic word?"

Jordyn - "I said please!"

Dylin - "That's not my magic word!"

Jordyn - "DYLIN GET YOUR FEET OFF MY SEAT!"

Dylin - (sarcastically) "So sorry, my feet aren't coming off until you tell me the magic word!"

ME - "DYLIN GET YOUR DANG FEET OFF THE SEAT NOW BEFORE I SMACK YOUR FEET!"

Dylin - (in her valley girl voice) "Oh my gosh Mom, that's it!... that's the magic word I mean sentence, you got it... the whole sentence...now I will take my feet down, congratulations Mom, you're so smart!"

New Years Resolution Thought....

We aren’t the first ones to wonder at our trials. We’re not the first to feel overcome by the challenges in life.

The common thread of human experience passes through all times. Our challenges may be different, but our lives are basically more similar than we sometimes suppose.

We are born. We live. We laugh. Sometimes we cry. (or like me a lot)

It may not matter as much as we think what circumstances we are born into. Regardless of the time, place, or condition in which we find ourselves, the yearnings are much the same. We have challenges. We feel pain and triumph; we suffer and learn. We experience joy and disappointments, fear and temptations, happiness and love. And at the end of it all, we have to decide what we really believe and WHO WE WANT TO BE!
